After spending many hours on this WordPress blogging system, going through hundreds of plug-ins and widgets to customize my blog, I think I am more or less done.
Few days ago I brought down my website due to personal reasons. Some of you may have known while many still does not know. Whatever the case, I took the opportunity to revamp my website. This is truly a revamp as you can see. I suppose your first impression will be that my previous website looks better. I may agree with you but I have decided to step out of the manually-hard-coded blogging method and step into this automated blogging system – WordPress. Just like many others who are using service of BlogSpot. WordPress allows me to download the entire system and use it on my own hosted domain. While it is also very customizable, I am still in the process of learning the system. My objective is one day to have a theme that is design by me. This current one is taken from those free-templates websites. I hunted so long before deciding on a few designs only. I cannot find any Christian related templates!
Apart from the new blogging system, from now on (after over 6 years), I have decided to stop my diary section and simply have a blog. My vivid diary fans will know that my diary consist on my day-to-day things that takes place in my life. Yeah, I have decided to stop doing that. At least it also offloads the burden on me to have to complete a diary entry per day. A blog gives me the freedom to just blog as and when I like and feel like it.
I have been truly encouraged through this downtime of few days to know that there are actually readers out there who comes back to visit my website again and again. You are the ones whom make me want to bring back my website! I appreciate everyone concern and sincerely thank everyone for your support throughout my 6 to 7 years of maintaining this website.
As I mentioned, I am still learning this WordPress system. Therefore if you do come across any errors or bugs, please do let me know about it. If you have any suggestions to improve, please let me know too. And also, try go register yourself an account with this website. I have configured the system that you must register and login in order to make comments here. I have not personally tested this login system, so I hope it all goes well!
