Bryan Chung While everyone around the world countdowns for the New Year, Crystal will also be counting down for her birthday on 1st Jan 2009. How nice I thought since everyone around the world is actually helping her to count down for her birthday too. “Haha!” Assuming that she or I will not be free on New Year Day, I decided to treat her to an early birthday meal. Joining us was Juliet. On last Monday, I rushed from school back home to meet Crystal who was at Juliet’s house. Then in Juliet’s car, we drove to VivoCity. Initial plan was to eat at Hooked! at Upper Thomson. But since it was already 2:30pm and not wanting to waste time to travel from place to place, we decided to eat at VivoCity. Just earlier when I was driving Louis home, he suggested I bring them to White Dog Cafe to eat. So that was where we went for lunch.

We continued to walk VivoCity quickly because I wanted to buy a gift for my god-sister Sien Wei who will be coming back from Germany after 6 long months away! She will be back in mid-January and I want to buy her a gift as her belated Birthday present. So I went to Sanrio to buy her favourite Hello Kitty product! What is it, she will find out later. Then I also bought 10 boxes of Meiji Poiful sweet from Cold Storage. It was on promotion. Not for myself though but I want to send them over to Lee Xiang and Christina over at Malaysia. I have done so today at the post office and it cost me $9.60 to send it over by registered mail. End up each box cost $2.30 but still cheaper than Malaysia that sells RM6 each.
Later that evening I went to meet Sheree and Geraldine for dinner. I will blog about that tomorrow as the final blog entry for 2008.
