Pencil case found; Sandals broke; And…

I was happy when I returned to school this morning and found my pencil case still in the class I was at yesterday. Nothing was missing from it. Thank God! However just when I thought luck was on my side, my sandals I was wearing, one of it broke! “What the hell!” Louis was laughing away when it happened. Two days into new December month, lost my pencil case, found it back and then my sandals broke. What will happen tomorrow I wonder, breaking my back?

However on the brighter side, I am now confirmed going for holiday! A short trip over to Shah Alam located in Selangor, Malaysia. It was my idea to want to go over there. Because crazily last week, I had the thought of meeting Lee Xiang and Christina! Lee Xiang, considered as one of my closer friend, we known each other through (fluff)Friends in Facebook. Over the months our friendship developed a lot. Then she introduced me to her friend Christina. Both are my good friends today. What ran through my mind was, “How amazing it will be to meet them in person.” And since Malaysia is not that far away, my mom was okay with the idea and will travel with me there. It will be expensive for them to travel to Singapore due to currency exchange. But for me to go over, everything is halfed price!

I will fly on Singapore Airlines from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur on 14th December morning. Then from Kuala Lumpur take a bus or taxi to Shah Alam about 30 minutes car ride away. Spend the next 4 days shopping over there and spending time with Lee Xiang and Christina. And taking a lot a lot a lot of photos! It is two more weeks to go but I am so excited! I now will have to plan with both of them to see how they can help make my trip over there enjoyable with my mom. Everything will be plan by me. This is my first time meeting friends I know from overseas!

With this experience, I can truly say that friendship has no boundary and distance. It is really the effort you want to make to make the friendship a special one. So when one tells you that, “Ah it’s too far to meet.“, or “Nah I am not free.“, or “I cannot, my so-and-so don’t allow.“, it is a whole lots of crap. It is whether you want to make the effort or not.

I am sure Lee Xiang and Christina are going to be super shock when they see this post!

those who are thoroughly persuaded of each other’s worth.
