Bryan Chung “WHAT A GOAL! DAMN YOU GOT THE BE KIDDING ME?!“
When Manchester United conceded the second goal, Gerald told me with confident to have faith that Manchester United will go on and win it. He even did mention, “Watch Macheda burn!” I was like “Who is heck is that?! Forget it we will lose.” Manchester United down by 1 – 2 with 10 minutes remaining. Out of the blue, they scored two in 10 minutes! One by Ronaldo and who is Ferderico Macheda?! Totally unknown and unheard of 17 year old Italian to me! Came on as a substitute and scored the match winning goal on the last minute! And it was a breath-taking sensational goal! So I was totally speechless when Gerald confronted me after the game. Totally lost for words, even he felt so excited that it was as if he scored the goal!
During the interview Federico was asked, “What was the first thing on your mind when you got the ball?” His answer, “Score a goal.” Classic answer! Manchester United instant hero!
