“Happy Birthday Kah Yan!“
Took me weeks to organize a birthday dinner for Kah Yan. I thought of having the dinner since we have so many neighbours who play basketball together often. So I gathered everyone to see who is keen for the dinner. Initial plan was to eat lunch at a Japanese restaurant at Cineleisure specialized in pasta. Then more plans materialized. Such as having a BBQ session in our condominium; having a pot-luck dinner at the function room; eating at Joe’s Cafe. But the final decision I made was to eat at New York New York instead. Main reason is because of the price of the food. In the end, 10 friends including myself turned up for the dinner. Here are some photos taken during the dinner.

I am actually quite relieved that things went well. I was afraid no one turns up; they did not enjoy the food; they did not like the place; no one will talk, etc. Thankfully none of those happened and I *think* most (if not all) enjoyed themselves! The only thing we did not have is a birthday cake for Kah Yan. I do feel quite lousy to have left out that when it is probably one of the most important things of a birthday celebrations. “Sorry Kah Yan!“
Special thanks to everyone who was present and made this birthday dinner a success for Kah Yan!
