Bryan Chung Thank God is Friday! Not only is the weekend here, it was a day I spent with my good friend cum ex-neighbour Sarene and Louis! Erm, seems like Louis is knowing a lot of friends of mine too. Thankfully he is able to click with all (if not most) of them! But strangely I do not know many of his friends. Wait, maybe is not even one? “Haha!” Anyway this meeting with Sarene was supposed to take place last Monday but was postpone till today. And there was no wait I am going to postpone it again. I went to Louis place to fetch him then together went to pick Sarene from her place aka my previous condominium. Then we drove to Jalan Kayu for lunch. Not there for prata but for…
Louis asked if I had any new place to eat yesterday. So I went to Hungrygowhere.com and done a search. Only one search result came up when I keyed in the search parameters. Since it was quite nearby, I decided to bring them to eat. Initially we thought the place was no longer there because the address given on the website was 237 Jalan Kayu. When we were about to give up, I drove up the street slowly and saw the shop! The address ended up to be 273 Jalan Kay! 273 instead of 237. “Haha!” Oh the shop name is He Ji Noodles. They previously had a branch at Upper Thomson. Anyway the noodle is really nice! Thin and crunchy! I will surely go back there to eat again.
After lunch we came back to my place and spent the entire afternoon together. Louis and I watched Game 4 of the NBA Finals between Magic vs. Lakers. It was a great game! So good that Sarene who had little interest basketball also watched with us instead of playing Sims 3. Eventually Lakers won after a period of over time. “YEAH!” The rest of the afternoon was spent in my room playing games.
Sarene went home earlier in the late evening while Louis stayed on. Even Brittany came over. We were supposed to play basketball but it rained.
