Bryan Chung I don’t know why but strangely today I have the urge of owning a pair of Crocs slippers. It all started when Louis and I was shopping around Bedok after having breakfast there. We were in Sportslink and notice the discount of the Crocs slippers. It was as low as about $25. But the range of colors was so ugly! But I was determined to look for nicer one. Still with an hour left before lesson at 1pm, we drove to Tampines and hunted around Tampines Mall and Tampines 1. Although Tampines 1 has it, the discount was not very good and they did not have the size I want. So after lesson, I decided to head down town to Orchard. Went to Plaza Singapura where they had a concept shop there. Even worst there was no discount at all! “So much for the Great Singapore Sale“, I thought. We still went to few other Royal Sporting House and Robinson at Centrepoint but the ranges were just as bad. Hence we landed back in Plaza Singapura.
Initially I chose the latest design. However after trying it and comparing with the older design, I preferred the older design. Louis too preferred the older design. So from the latest design I switched to aim at the older design. Then it was time to decide on the color.
I wanted black color because of my sweaty feet problem; it will not dirty my slippers so easily. Moreover black was a safer color to match with my clothing. But Louis convinced me to go for something brighter. A brighter color that will make me look younger too. I tried the blue but it was bad. The yellow was great but made me look like a duck! I dare not wear the red.
So I ended up with the new color of luminous green. Looks great even with my black pants I was wearing. So I bought it!
I even bought those buttons costing $1.95 each. Buy 4 get 1 free. Just nice my name has 5 characters. The slippers itself was $53.45. But thanks to my mom who agreed to sponsor me the full amount! “Love you Mom!” I will be wearing it to school tomorrow!
