Cross found! Thank you Jesus!

For the first time yesterday, Louis wanted to swim. So besides our regular work out at the gym and playing basketball, we swam in the pool for a while. Chee Hoong joined us for the swim too. Louis did not know how to swim well. He was just trying to test how deep the pool is. We dipped in the pool for about 20 minutes, and then we decided to go to the hot spa. Again it was Louis first time in there. When we were done with the spa, I got up and went to wash up. Much to my horror I realized the cross on my necklace was missing! Immediately I plunged into depression and feeling so worried. The cross meant so much to me because it was a birthday gift given to me by my special friend Crystal (Expensive (Belated)Birthday Gift). Thoughts ran through my mind about how valuable the cross is and how much Crystal saved just to buy me that gift. I knew I had to find the cross back. I knew chances were very slim. There were so many areas I went for the past few hours.

The thought of having to swim and scan through the whole pool at night with little light was emotionally and mentally painful. But I had no choice. With the help of Chee Hoong, we went into the pool again and started looking for it. Swimming slowly up and down the pool row by row looking for a tiny cross was like looking for a needle in a hay stack. Minute after minute past and my heart sank deeper. I told Chee Hoong to look around at the basketball court too. But he came back with nothing. I was in the pool for 20 minutes already. In the pool I prayed, “God if is Your will, please tell me where I can find the cross.” Immediately the word “basketball court” appeared in my mind. But on the other hand, I felt it was no use because Chee Hoong already tried. Still I got out of the pool and walked to the basketball court. Much to my delight and surprised, in no more than a minute, I found the cross! The feeling I had was overwhelming. I so wanted to cry in tears of joy as I held the cross in my hand.

I found back the cross only because God told me where I can find it and He even led me to it. I spent 20 minutes in the pool with no avail. And spent less than a minute at the court and found it. I was so happy that I came home and immediately told my mom about it. Before that, I was so sure I could not find the cross that while walking to the basketball court, I told Chee Hoong “I give you $1,000 if I can find it.” Now I have to eat my words for it! Not $1,000 but I promised Chee Hoong a treat. A treat that he gladly accepted. Truly this is one testimony of God at work I must testify and give thanks too!

In fact this incident is the second time the cross dropped from the ring attached to the necklace. Previously when it dropped, I noticed it immediately. Also at the same location – the basketball court. When I fixed it back, I made the sure the ring was close tightly with no gap. Looking at the ring again, a tiny less than 0.1mm gap appeared and the cross seemed to have found its way out of it. I will have to probably now overlap the ring and make sure there is no gap. Whatever the case, I am so glad I found it back. With that, I really want to say…

Thank You Jesus for answering my prayers instantly!
