Last Friday, Restaurant City made new updates to the game. Adding the feature of being able to plant seeds in a garden outside of our restaurant. Each seed costing $2,000 and will be ready for harvest at the quickest duration of 48 hours; that is 2 days. I have planted the maximum of 9 seeds possible just to try it out. Here is how the garden looks like after 24 hours.

$2,000 per seed is quite expensive though. I am not sure if I will continue to plant after I harvest these lot. Because there are high chances that I will pay $2,000 to plant a seed to harvest an ingredient that I have plentiful of. Because currently I only need the new ingredients that were introduced in the updates too. Particularly coriander, ginger and vanilla (from left to right of the image below).

But seeing I may not have much use for the money I have currently anyway, I might as well spend it in other to complete the new dishes that were introduced. I do want to make all the new dishes, especially the two new main course dishes – Bak Kut Teh & Three-Cup Chicken. Because the dishes go well with my Chinese restaurant theme – Imperial House. All new dishes can be seen in the screen shot below.

What got me quite pissed was that I added 90 new friends today in hope to get the new ingredient from the “new friend visit”. Yet out of 90 new visits, I got no new ingredient! A check with PlayFish forum shows that there were others who added as many as 200 new friends but also receive none! Now this is pathetic! Probably PlayFish really wants us to get the new ingredients by planting seeds in the garden.

Anyway so just when I thought I was done with the game after the last update, there are new objectives again. That is good if not this game for me will be just left there to away-from-keyboard.
