Sakae Sushi recently opened a new branch located in Wisma Artia at Orchard. Together with Louis, we dined in there yesterday for lunch. Looking for the restaurant was not difficult although it was at the corner of the mall. Surely you cannot miss the huge Sakae Sushi logo at the entrance of the new branch! The entrance looks beautiful! In fact the interior design of the restaurant looks so much more elegant than any other branches I been to before. Probably because this is new and also located in Singapore’s prime Orchard area. Hence they have to design the restaurant to look classier. Take a look at this short video.
As I was saying the interior design of the restaurant looks great too, here are two photos and a video I took inside the restaurant. The restaurant was kind of empty. At the time of us inside, there were only two other tables of people. And the restaurant itself was not very big in area too. On top of that probably because the restaurant is new and it was already 3:00pm in the afternoon.

In terms of the quality of food, one thing I like the most is that the salmon sushi was great! The best I ever have eaten at Sakae Sushi! The salmon slice was huge and the rice quantity was small. That is good because most of the people will surely prefer eating more salmon than more rice. The salmon was really cold and fresh! I ended up eating six salmon sushi! Too bad Louis does not enjoy eating salmon. All the other sushi we ordered was fresh and good too! That includes all the hot dishes we ordered.
Unfortunately I did not have my Sakae Card with me because I am still waiting for the company to send me my new card. My card expired last month and in the process of renewal. So anyway if you are in Orchard and decide to eat Japanese food, whether for lunch, high-tea or dinner, be sure to head on down to Wisma Atria, Level 3 to try Sakae Sushi! The address is located at the end of this entry.
