It was about two months ago that my god-sister Wei Lin and I met for the first time. Yesterday we met once again. She did not have to go school because her examinations are over and it is the school’s marking day. She wanted to have her hair cut. So I recommended her to the saloon I always go to with my mom. Just nice that my mom was on leave too as she is training my new maid who arrived on Thursday night. This is the second maid in a month because the previous one just cannot speak English. And with the language barrier, my family could not keep her. Anyway I drove to Wei Lin’s place to fetch then. Then along the way to the saloon back at Hougang, I fetched my mom too. Together we went for brunch before going to cut hair. I cut my hair too. Wei Lin was so afraid of what is going to happen to her hair because she stressed that she will really cry if it turns out not nice. Turns out that she really likes her hair now!

After we finished with our hair, Wei Lin and I drove to Tampines Mall. She wanted to look for a particular grey colour casing for her iPod. Unfortunately after roaming Tampines Mall and Tampines 1, she could not find what she wanted. Then we decided to have something to eat. I brought her to Niwa Sushi – the place I went too after service last week with Geraldine and Yun Ting to eat. I did not know Wei Lin loves sushi  too! She even wanted to eat wasabi until she cried. And she really cried!

So glad Niwa Sushi has 20% discount for students. I treated her to the meal that we really enjoyed eating! So funny that she really cried eating wasabi. I will never want to try it! After we finished eating, it was almost late afternoon already. We drove back to my place. Spent about an hour at my place. She showed me how much she learnt from her dance moves. She has been learning the dance moves of Girls Generation – Gee and Genie. Finally we took some more photos before she went home by train.

I suppose we will be meeting again at least in 3 months time because she wants to go back to the saloon to cut again by then. Well, hopefully I will meet her more even before 3 months is up.
