“Oops!” More blogging about food. But this time it’s virtual food! Restaurant City had a game maintenance a couple of hours ago. And when the game was back up, there were several new dishes added to the menu. Many of the players were expecting these dishes to appear because these dishes were from the recent competition winners. So I had been keep stocks of the ingredients needed. Initially I was short of 5 Oregano ingredients. But I was able to trade for those 5 very quickly. Hence I completed levelling all the dishes to max level 10! Without further ado, here are the screen-shots of the new menu!

Basically what’s new in the menus are:

• Starter: Dimsum
• Main: Mushroom Risotto & Lamb with Pomegranate Sauce
• Dessert: Tiramisu
• Drinks: Saffron Tea

Disappointingly just as I feel with many other players, we were expecting more game updates such as more employees, new game levels, etc. However it seems like PlayFish is making the game quite real-life money orientated. Cannot really blame them after all they are a real life company trying to make money too. Just like my (fluff)Friends game that introduced “gold currency” some time ago. So PlayFish is taking the same approach I see. For me, I will not spend real-life money on such games. Hence this move PlayFish took was considered to be a step-back by many other players.

Whatever the case, I will continue to play this game without the decorations that can only be purchase with real-life money then. :)
