For so many months, I had blogged about dining in at Sakae with my good friend Louis. But this time round, it was not with him but with my mom! Because my mom is now on-leave to teach my new maid around my house. So for lunch, I brought her to Sakae Sushi to give her a treat! Treating her did not have to cost me anything since I have multiple vouchers I can make use of. Oh I did pay actually, just $0.10 cents because the amount was rounded off to the dollar. :) $0.10 cents for a good meal at Sakae Sushi is so worth it! It included salmon sashimi too!

Anyway I have been looking forward to Sakae Sushi’s new menu coming in March as I know off. So when I dined in yesterday, I was glad the new menu was out! They introduced new “Pink Plate” sushi at the cost of $3.99. Actually that is what I noticed only. The rest of the items in the menu seem like it was before.

But I only tried one of the new $3.99 sushi (bottom left photo). Bean curd skin with egg and prawn. It is nice! There are some others I wanted to try but my mom cannot eat much. So I did not want to order too much too. She alone, a bowl of Sakae Salad is good enough. My mom enjoys the salad a lot! She always order that when she dine in at Sakae with her colleges.
