Ikoi Japanese Restaurant located within Mirama Hotel was a place my mom always wanted to try. Few days ago when she tried to make a reservation, they said it was fully booked. However, right till the very day when we already made booking for international buffet at Swissotel Singapore, the restaurant called and said they could give us a table. So we accepted the offer and canceled reservation at Swissotel Singapore.

Ikoi Japanese Restaurant serve ala-cartes menu or buffet. It cost $33++ per person for buffet dinner. So for table of 5 that included my parents, brother and his girlfriend, we ate to almost $200. But the quality of the food was simply awesome! It is good that every portion of the dish was not a lot so we can eat more. Ordering more varieties of dishes to try. The salmon sashimi was probably the best I have eaten. I ate two servings of it! In fact every dish we ordered was so good. There was not a dish that was not good.

As you can see from the photo above, they serve a lot of dishes under their buffet menu. Yes, all those you see above are included in the buffet menu. You can just go there and order 100 plates of sashimi if you can eat that much! Sure it will make your money so worthwhile! So if you are a fan of Japanese food, I think it is going to be a must for you to visit this place one day. Remember to make reservation way in advance. I overheard the lady who answered the phone; customers are already making reservation for a date that is a month later! :)
