Last Thursday, Louis and I went to Compass Point to dine in at Sakae Sushi for lunch. Did not want to go back to Century Square or Heartland Mall since those are common places we been before to eat at Sakae Sushi. So I decided on Compass Point instead. For the first time we got to see on a long table even though it was just two of us. Felt so spacious suddenly! :) We were so hungry before going in before we skipped breakfast, knowing we will eat at Sakae Sushi. So immediately we sat down, I grabbed some sushi to eat while Louis checks out to menu to see what is new. He has not seen the new menu by Sakae Sushi that was released two months ago.
Louis ordered the curry chicken cutlet rice. While I just ate lots of sushi and some other orders. Louis wanted to share with me the curry rice but after taking a spoon of it, I did not quite like it. I know Japanese curry is not spicy, since I do not take spicy food. But I still did not quite like it as it kind of spoils my taste bug for eating other food I wanted to, like my favorite salmon sashimi! So we kind of wasted half the bowl of rice although all the chicken was finished. It was a huge portion of chicken! :)
Unknowingly, we actually selected a lot of different sushi that were all on different colour plates! Then I decided to take a photo of them all and name it “Sakae Rainbow”! Just unfortunately Sakae did not have orange and indigo colours within their range of plates. That was something I joked about to the waitress who came and took my bill. Haha! Some of these photos were taken by Louis too who was enjoying snapping away using my DSLR camera.
So which Sakae outlet should I eat at next month? :)
