Singapore City Night Photos

Taking my Canon 550D out for the first time at night to take night photos. I went to Marina Square area where I visited Singapore’s iconic Merlion statute, moving on to Esplanade and finally to the newly constructed Helix Bridge that is link to the under construction Marina Bay Sands integrated resort.

I am so thankful that I bought a tripod together with the DSLR. The tripod cost me only $20. Without the tripod, seriously it is impossible to take good night shots. Especially with my shaky hands. Although I could have gotten a better tripod, at least the one I have is still good enough. I love the photos I took. I think I am one who prefers photos with flash. It kind of makes the colours more original compared to shots without flash. I know many do not like flash shots. But when flash is used properly and correctly, I believe the photos are nicer!

I would love to take more night photos next time!
