Last Friday, I was out with my good friend Jiayun for a photo outing at Chinatown. It was also to celebrate her coming birthday next weekend. But since she will not be free, we went out a week early. It was our first time going out on a photo shoot together, ever since both she and I got our own cameras. While I am using a Canon 550D, she is using a Nikon D90.
At the end of the day, I took 356 photos. But out of those hundreds, I filtered out many. You can see more photos at my gallery page. I decided not to display them in my front page (this page) so it will reduce loading time. So click on down to my gallery page to view more. I am becoming more and more like my girlfriend I feel. Because I got influenced by her enjoying to take photos of children. And on that day at Chinatown, there were many groups of children on their school’s excursion. And when I was taking photos of them, they were sporting enough to pose to my camera for me! Here are some non-edited photos that I have collage together.
I think the only disappointment for us that day were the food we ate. Chinatown is well known for good food. Unfortunately the bak-ku-teh for lunch and the dinner we ate at People’s Park Complex was bad. Jiayun commented, “If today is a food outing, this outing was a failure. But since it is a photo outing, this outing was a success!” So I am glad the outing was a success even though we were so tired in the end. Anyway I am always so tired after photo shooting.
I just realised I only have my girlfriend and my good friend Jiayun who owns a DSL camera. Anyone else? Want to go photo shoot together? :)
Enjoy the rest of the photos at my gallery!
