I’m a Millionaire! (in Monopoly Millionaires)

Before I start off, I want to say that I have completely recovered from my fever that plagued me for 5 days. Thank God I am fully healed now! :)

Alright ever since I got back from my in-camp training (army reservist), I had a liking for Monopoly. So I decided to give PlayFish’s Monopoly Millionaires game on Facebook a try. Initially the game seems boring. Not much of a designing factor. In fact till now, there is not much designing factor involve besides the center of the board that you can buy decoration to fill them. Actually after I completed building all the hotels and max level them to the highest, I do not have much aim in the game anymore. I was able to so quickly build up my hotels because I added a lot of temporary friends to Facebook.

I have a nett worth of over $4.5 million in the game now. If only it is my real nett worth in real life. “Haha!” Anyway my only objective now is to level up all the houses there are. It is going to take me some time because even if I have the money, I cannot level up the houses without the property cards. So for now, I will just roll and roll the dice when I can. =)

Battling Fever For The Past Days

Sorry for the lack of update. Just let you all know I am still (barely) alive. For the past 5 days, I have been battling to overcome my fever. And I am still in the process of doing so. My body temperature hit a high of 39.47 degrees Celsius at times. And often hover in the range of 38 to 39 degrees. I have seen two doctors, both have given me injection. But nothing seems to be working it seems. If it goes on for another two more days, I will go for a blood test in hopes of finding answers to what is wrong with me.

I have been Google-ing about fever and the tips to conquer fever. I done all I could but nothing seems to be bringing my fever down. With each passing day, I am afraid what might be happening within my body.

Please pray for me…

Here are some photos taken at Changi Point BoardWalk.

There are a few more at My Gallery. :)

Shopping & Photographing with Chanel

It was probably Chanel and I first time going out to shop together. While Kenneth went with his friends to church for Easter weekend service, Chanel did not want to be home on Saturday. So I asked her out to shop as both of us wanted to really buy some stuff. For her, she wanted to get new clothing while I am hoping to buy a hat. Yes a hat! :) Was wondering how I will look like wearing a hat since I have been seeing people wearing it. In fact, last December when my Malaysian friends – Christina and Lee Xiang came, Christina bought herself a hat too. So we went to Bugis Street to do the shopping. We spent a few hours there and we bought what we wanted. Haha it was fun keep on tempting Chanel to spend money. Well that is shopping right? See something you like – BUY! Anyway she had some budget too.

After shopping, we drove all the way to Changi. I decided to see how Changi Point BoardWalk will look like. Besides, I was hoping to take some sunset photos. A check on the weather shows that the sunset timing was 7:05pm. So we were there about 5pm. That place is not very accessible without car. In fact even with my car, I parked at the side of the road, not in a proper parking lot. So anyway we started taking photos. I was quite happy with the place as it offered very nice sea view.

There were many people fishing there. Fishing for fishes and crabs. There were Malay families there camping out too. And of course there were a few like us, just there to take photos. Oh there were also some soon-to-be-married couples there taking their marriage photographs too. It was really quite beautiful even though the walking place were quite limited.

Okay but it was quite disappointing that I did not take any sunset photos that I wanted. Because it was so cloudy that the view of the sun was completely blocked off. I was prepared to take tough shots because I am not experience in taking sunset photos. Wanted to try it out but guess I will have to try another day. Whatever the case, Chanel and I went on to take more photos! :)

Thankfully she is not shy in being my model. “Haha!” There were many more photos we took. I will just post them in Facebook. I will also blog another time on more photos, sometime later. After I edit the photos. :) We left the place at 7:30pm then we drove back to Heartland Mall to dine in at Sakae Sushi for dinner. Been long since I dined in at Sakae Sushi. Ever since they cancelled their e-journalist programme, I have no eaten there. After dinner, we returned to my place and Chanel went on a mini-changing-parade – showing off her new clothing! :)

It was an awesome day all in all! :)

Birthday Dinner at Singapore Seafood Republic

My family celebrated my mum’s 58th birthday on Sentosa Island. We drove into Sentosa and dined in at Singapore Seafood Republic restaurant. Upon reaching the place, I took lots of photos first. Well okay actually not a lot. Just randomly snapping photos before going to the restaurant. The clouds in the sky were awesome beautiful! Especially as it was evening time and the sun was setting. Then came the night time but it was rather hard to take nicer photos at night. Okay, I am just not good enough in photographing. :P

Seriously, the dinner was good! The food was awesome! The first dish was the cold fresh lobster. That lobster itself cost $150! Craziness! The meat was so little only! I barely ate a few slices. Then the venison meat was so thick and good! Seriously all the food was good. Even the green vegetable was so tasty that I think I ate the most instead of I normally eating only a little vegetable. So if you are looking for a place for a good (and expensive) dinner, try Singapore Seafood Republic. Part of the Tung Lok family. The total bill came up to more than $400. All that we ate, are in the photo below.

Happy Birthday Mum!” :)
