It was an impromptu decision to meet for lunch. It was a day that Manchester City beaten Liverpool in the early morning hours. And because Timothy was too happy that Manchester City won, he overslept and did not go tot school. Hence we decided to meet for lunch. And he insisted I wore my Manchester United shirt. Throughout the meeting, everything we do, he must irritatingly link it with blue (Manchester City colors). He cannot stop telling me how proud he is of his supporting team. Always comparing how good is blue over red (Manchester Untied colors). And I had to do the painful job or keep reminding him which is the team that has won 17 championship titles. Haha!

Sigh, Tampines Mall Pizza Hut is one restaurant that brings back many memories… “We often sat there… it is now empty.“

We wanted to take photos together in Pizza Hut. But because there were people seated next to our table, we ended up going out of the place to take. I had to place my camera on top of a rubbish bin to take a timer shot. :P

There was one photo he kissed the badge of his shirt. But I refuse to upload that. :)
After watching some YouTube videos on how to do ankle strengthening exercise, I decided that I needed to buy a resistance tube. Be it tube, rope or band would be fine. After doing a bit of online shopping at eBay, I found a band that cost $14. However I thought I prefer a tube because there will be a handle for me to grip on. So I went shopping yesterday at Tampines while meeting Timothy for lunch. I will blog about that lunch again on another post. But for now, here is my new resistance tube.

Out of many sport shops I walked into, only Royal Sporting House had what I wanted. This I bought is a Reebook level 3 resistance tube. I thought I just needed level 2. Moreover the lower the level, the cheaper it cost. But when I tested the level 2, I felt little resistance. This level 3 cost $29. But because of the YOG event, there was a 20% discount for YOG participant and students! That is why I still enjoy being a student! I am really happy to get the discount because I thought $29 was quite expensive.
Anyway if you are interested in the video I saw, here is the link.
I want to make sure my ankle will be as good as before the injuries! To strengthen, stabilize, and mobilize!
Rev. Dr. A.R. Bernard was at City Harvest Church over the weekend to preach in the services. In the service I was in, he preached about having a Holistic Growth in Life. Humans are supposed to be a bio-psycho-social-spiritual being. And there are 5 kinds of relationships we need to have to have a proper growth development.
- Relationship with God
- Relationship with Self
- Relationship with Others
- Relationship with Things
- Relationship with Places
Unless you know how to relate to those relationships, you will not have a proper growth development. You will not be balance if you only develop in one area. You have to grow holistically – that is the 5 relationships mentioned above.
A.R. Bernard went on to preach about the 4 elements to a holistic growth in life. And in conclusion to his powerful sermon, he shared about “Life Track”. Something to make use of to take note of the progression in your life. Now that is really very good!
Live life intentionally with wisdom and purpose.
“Wisdom is the skillful use of the knowledge and understanding for successful living.” – Rev. Dr. A.R. Bernard

A short but powerful sermon preached by Rev. Dr. Kong Hee during last weekend service at City Harvest Church. Pastor shared with us 5 things about God the Father. Besides you knowing God is God, do you know the 5 things about God the Father? Fatherhood is a very important fact in life to this very age. The fatherhood of God was revealed in all the major teachings in the Bible. God called “Father” more than 140 times in the Bible.
What is your picture of God in your mind?
What do you think of when you hear the word “Father”? Protection? Warmth? Or an unforgiving judge?
Let this sermon note teach you more. :)

Right after the day that my relationship ended, I had to leave home to not be surrounded by walls. I decided to take a walk in a park with my camera. After meeting Carolyn for lunch at Sengkang, I went off to nearby Punggol Park. Armed with my camera and clouded with memories of photo taking, I roamed the park. It was also my first time going out to take photos alone. And I can only guess that it is going to be this way for quite some time. Like I always mentioned, I have little friends who are into photographing. And now without her, the situation turned worst.
I did not maange to take many photos, just about a hundred shots. And here are some photos that have gone through post processing.

This is a photo that I made it into my desktop wallpaper currently.

This is my favourite photo of that day. In fact, this boy was with his brother fishing at the pond. I went up to them to chat. Total strangers yet I told them I was there because of my breakup. When the boy asked “How come break?” his elder brother replied, “Must be not compatible.” in mandarin. And my reply was, “I supposed so.” I just had to share my thoughts.

This is a panorama shot of Punggol Park.

I’m still surviving… well I have to right? :(
