My two months of holidays is into its last day today. After this weekend, it will be back to school days. Although initially I was very looking forward to school as I head into my final semester, my thoughts changed when I received my timetable. Not only is my timetable different from my good friend Louis, I was given one subject lesser than supposed-to-take. One less subject is not any good because I will still have to go and apply for one more subject when school reopens. That also means that my what-looks-to-be-free timetable will be even more packed.
Different from Louis; one lesser subject; is nothing compared to how worst I felt when I realised my study timings clashed with my girlfriend’s one. Days when I am free, she is not. Days when she is free, I am not. Suddenly I felt so suffocated that I even have thoughts of dropping my subjects just to make more time with my dear. When I told Chee Hoong about this, he said “Then I rather you faster finish your term so you can spend more time with her rather than you drop your subject and you still have to delay more months graduating.” (Well okay his English not so powerful till he said so nice sentence. Something like that I edited. Haha!) So I thought about it again, the only positive thing I see is that my current timetable will last only for 7 weeks after that I will get another. Louis said, “7 weeks… short also not short… long also not long.” I replied, “Well in a relationship situation, 7 weeks is very long for me.“
When I told my dear about my timetable, not exactly the timings yet, just about bad it is, she already gave me the sad face. Gosh! So now what I am going to face for the next 7 weeks will be mainly a bunch of new people I am going to meet in class and more importantly (and sadly), lesser time with my dear. Well if God wants to put our relationship to the test, great! Cause we will stand strong and still love each other! For with God, nothing shall be impossible!
