I was recommended to eat at Saizeriya after my mom together with her cell group tried it last week. She was sharing with me how nice the food is; how affordable the prices are and how good their service is. So together with Louis, Chee Hoong and Edward, we decided to give it a try. Instead of me driving, we took the train since it was so convenient. Just a few stations away from where we stayed at Kovan to Farrer Park. And just outside of Farrer Park is the newly open City Square Mall. In front of the restaurant, I greeted by the sight of this pretty waitress named Marilyn! (Haha too bad when I came home to try to search for her online profile, I came up with nothing.) Here is a video of the place and their menu.
Each of us ordered a main dish and we shared a 9″ pizza. The food really tastes good. My hamburger steak reminds me of PepperLunch while I think the most unique dish was the one Edward ordered – Squid Ink Spaghetti.
- Squid Ink Spaghetti – $5.98 (left top)
- Pineapple & Bacon Pizza – $6.98 (left bottom)
- Pork & Hamburger Steak – $7.98 (center bottom)
- Mushroom & Meat Sauce Spaghetti – $5.98 (right top)
- Tuna Arrabbiata Spaghetti – $6.48 (right bottom)
Our total bill was just below $40. So it was about $10 per person after including the 17% taxes. Not too bad at all! I will go back and try other dishes when I get the chance.
After eating, we shopped around the mall. It was huge! How we were wishing that Heartland Mall (opposite our house) is just 1/3 as big as this mall. There are a lot of restaurants in the mall. I was the only one who bought something. Was in this Sunflower shop where I bought three electrical candles at $9.90 for three. And I also bought a Christmas present for Brittany! I thought of getting her the candles but I thought it was too cheap considering she bought me the dolphin from Hong Kong and soon to give me another thing from Perth as she flies back tomorrow. So I bought something else for her (which I cannot show the photo yet). But here are the electrical candles I bought.
Then crazily as we were walking back towards the train station wanting to go home, Chee Hoong and Louis suddenly agreed to play bowling! Chee Hoong always likes to boast how good his bowling is comparing to his basketball skills. So we finally decided to check him out! Only both of them played while Edward and I watched. They played two games. And without the third game, consider it a draw. But overall scores, Louis still won! Well I recorded each of them hitting a strike though.
That is all for this blog! My mom bought me a new pair of shoes from Crocs as Christmas present. I will blog about it tomorrow. :)

Christmas is the most beautiful time of the year. But never forget that Christmas is not an event or festival but Christmas is about a Christ because He is the reason for the season. Many people are making a mistake when they forget that Christmas is about Jesus Christ and His birth beyond all the shopping, Christmas trees, family get-together, etc.

Do you know being a dreamer is actually not an easy thing to do? In the Bible, people despised Joshua for dreaming big. The world is so critical at times that there are people who actually want to see successful people fail. But is it not wrong to have big dreams. In fact, God always has big dreams for you. However are you able to realized whether the big dreams you have are from God or your what you think you want?
