After several years that my web hosting company Poznet served me well, I have decided to use another provider for the coming year. Mainly because I have received complaints from quite a number of visitors to my website that the loading time of my website is rather slow. This is especially at night. A check with Poznet and they told me because I am using a US-based server and not SG-based server. US-based are cheaper than SG-based. Another reason is because I found another web hoster that is SG-based server and cheaper. Thanks to my classmate Habib who recommended to me. I have already paid for the account over at Savvy E Hosting and will now make the DNS switch. This may cause some downtime of my website. So please do not be alarm if my website fails to load when you come in.
Expected downtime (if there is to be) will be no more than 24 hours, I hope.
“Thanks Poznet! Hello Savvy E Hosting!“
Since I started playing basketball, been making new friends. Kah Yan is yet another friend I made. The first female friend from my condominium to play. Never really seen her play before until last Thursday. I was not supposed to play as I was still recovering from my injury. But since Louis wanted to play and I wanted to exercise, I agreed. Kah Yan whom also initially had no intentions of coming down since she ran her 2.4km earlier in the morning. That is no wonder when we played 3 vs. 2 on the court and I was in her team, she was virtually “not there”! She stood under the basket and refused to do any running. “Haha!” After the game she still could yawn! Similar to her, we started learning to play basketball not long ago. She is in her school’s volleyball team. But since there is not volleyball court here and it looks like an idiot to play volleyball alone, she picked up basketball. Probably hoping to grow taller while she still can, unlike me I cannot!
Nevertheless she performed slightly better yesterday. She came my place together with Louis before we played basketball. At least she did more running and that is good. Rather than standing around waiting for the ball to be pass to her. “Hehe!” After the game, we walked over to the hawker center for dinner. Here is a photo taken by Louis at my place before playing.
Now is to wait for the next opportunity to play again with her and Rachel who is still in Japan enjoying her holidays.
Well I have got nothing much to blog about so how about some stress relievers?
Stress Reliever #1
Wife: You always carry my photo in your handbag to the office. Why?
Hubby: When there is a problem, no matter how impossible, I look at your picture and the problem disappears.
Wife: You see, how miraculous and powerful I am for you?
Hubby: Yes, I see your picture and say to myself, “What other problem can there be greater than this one?”
Stress Reliever #2
Girl: When we get married, I want to share all your worries, troubles and lighten your burden.
Boy: It’s very kind of you, darling, But I don’t have any worries or troubles.
Girl: Well that’s because we aren’t married yet.
Stress Reliever #3
Father to son after exam: Let me see your report card.
Son: My friend just borrowed it. He wants to scare his parents.
Stress Reliever #4
A husband was asked: Do you talk to your wife after sex?
He replied: Depends, if I can find a phone.
Stress Reliever #5
Why did they stop printing PAMELA ANDERSON stamps in the U.S.?
Answer: Because people started licking the wrong side.
Stress Reliever #6
Doctor to his lady patient: You look terribly weak and exhausted! Are you having your meals three times a day as I have advised?
Lady replied: Doctor, I thought you said three males a day.
Or how about these two videos from Youtube?
Enjoy and have a good laugh!
Woke up early on this Tuesday morning to a raining weather. Glad that my neck injury seems to have improved after visiting the Chinese physician yesterday evening. The same old neck injury of mine. That right side of my neck is so prone to getting injured now. “Well what can I say, getting old. :(” Doctor said I will never recover to a full 100%. Probably only 70-80%. It all happened when I was at gym last week. I believe I blog about it. Anyway I was doing some weights training and I think my muscles pulled again. I will just have to be more careful or even not pull too much weight next time round. I think playing basketball is still fine.
Thankfully though I consulted the Chinese physician sooner than later because the infection on my muscles could have worsened. So for precaution, I am wearing my neck support brace.
Ironically I just finished watching a new series I have been madly chasing for the past 3 days. Do not believe it is shown in Singapore – Bones. Lee Xiang introduced me to this series knowing I like crime shows a lot. Unlike CSI, Bones show actually has no physical body to work with to identify the victim or how he/she was killed. All they have were bones recovered from the crime scene. Then from those bones, they will solve the crime. Amazing show! I completed 16 episodes in 3 days! No wonder my special friend Crystal asked me, “What have you been so busy with?“
