This morning I got my first Christmas present for this year. It was from my great-aunt who gave me $50 cash. I do not recall when she last gave me a present but this $50 is one big one. Because she is unmarried, living with my grand-mother. I understand from my mom that she gave $50 this year because she was able to collect her CPF (some Singapore government thing) money. So I am really happy! Because with the extra money, I can in turn buy presents for my friends. And indeed the first two presents I bought are two Phiten necklaces. For my two good friends I met a year ago in Malaysia – Lee Xiang & Christina! This will be of no surprise to them that is why I am blogging it now. Lee Xiang wanted one so much but it was too expensive in Malaysia. Hence I decided to buy it off eBay for her and get it delivered to her. I know she is very excited to receive it! :)
My mom also bought me two manga comics today! She said it was so expensive that she made it my Christmas present. Of course I insisted “No!” I still want more from her. These two manga are Christian comics based on the Bible. I have the first book that was based on the book of Matthew. I bought that in Malaysia when I was there with my mom meeting Lee Xiang and Christina. A year later, another two volumes released. I am not sure what these two books are based on in the Bible. But I am very excited to read it too!

(You can find out more about the Manga here.)
“Thanks Mom and great-aunt!“
