Another Restaurant City Update

After monitoring my renovated Restaurant City design for a day yesterday, I noticed problems. Most important problematic issue was that every time I reload the game, my waiters will be missing from one of the three dining area. I had tried all the possible solutions to fix the problem but none worked. Another problem was that no customers were using my wishing well. And after other comments made in PlayFish forum, I quickly came up with a version 2!

Yes, I am happier with this version 2. I switched back to two islands layout instead of three. I expanded my toilet from 6 seats to 10 seats. I also expanded my gaming area from 5 arcade machines to 10 machines. And few other stuff! And thanks to my friends whom I seek for help yesterday to trade with me their orange ingredient, I am able to complete levelling up all the new dishes for Christmas! Even all those dishes that Gourmet King released thus far.

What is probably missing now is a snowman! :D

Christmas Theme for Restaurant City

After spending three over hours with the help of Brittany over at my place, I completed renovating my Restaurant City into a Christmas theme! PlayFish introduced quite a lot of new features into the game. Upping the maximum level of 32 to the current level 65 (Which I am already at!). Including new decorations for high level players; external garden; and even started rolling out Christmas decorations. Also want to say a special thanks to an online friend, Jennie (Whom is also a regular at my blog) for being so generous in giving me PlayFish cash items. I insisted on trading with her for (fluff)Friends cash items but she refused. Without further ado, here is my new Christmas restaurant!

I spent about $600,000 on renovating. Majority of the money spent went into expanding my external garden; Christmas tables and chairs and the most expensive wishing well that cost over $240,000. I have also decided to go with a design that I do not have to keep thinking of something new whenever there is a season/festival. With this design, I can simply change the wallpaper, floor, tables and chairs. Still being able to keep the main layout. So I am very happy with this design now. Thought about getting the snowman but then I figured it will be of no use after Christmas. Therefore I rather not waste money to trade for that.

Hope you like my restaurant!

Work Hard For Your Success

You must recognise that you are part of the process for success. It is not always true that the brightest and the smartest that always reach the top. In fact “Success = Talent + HARD WORK!” The main ingredient is not talent but hard work. Talents alone does not guarantee success. There is simply no short cut for success. There is no such thing as effortless success. Believing in success without hard work is against common sense.

(Proverbs 12:24) The hand of the diligent will rule, But the lazy man will be put to forced labor.

This sermon by Pastor Kong last weekend at City Harvest Church teaches the 5 smart move that Caleb made in order to achieve his success in life. Although Caleb was 85 years old, he was still going as strong to realising his dream he had.

The likelihood of your lifelong dream coming true corresponds directly to the strength of your faith.” – Rev. Dr. Kong Hee

Introducing Dolphus & Delfino!

Introducing my latest soft toy in my room… Dolphus and Delfino!

Dolphus & Delfino

They are flown in specially from Ocean Park in Hong Kong. Courtesy of Brittany who came back from there a week ago from her school trip. Took the dolphins another one week to swim from her house to my house! They are so adorable! The one dolphin with a smaller one at the back. I decided to give them both names. And since they are blue, I assume they are male and named them Dolphus and Delfino. I did ask Brittany for suggestions of name and she came up with Jayden. But I figured that since Jayden is more of a human name, it will not be nice.

For the first time they were in my arms when I slept last night!

Thanks Brittany dear for buying them back for me!” Now my pink dolphin will have company!

My Home Inn Rooms

It has been for quite some time I have been playing Home Inn – a game in Facebook. Initially I found the game quite hard to play. Not in terms of game play but in terms of having new decorated rooms. Simply because everyone starts off poor and low lower. But after about over a month of playing, I am now level 23 and having over $5 million. Earning money when you are high level is no longer an issue. Each time I click to kiss a guest, I earn about $500. So my advice for those who find the decorations expensive is to be patient. Once you are higher level, the game becomes easier (and aimless eventually). With those said, let me show you my room designs to give you some ideas if you are looking for ideas on how to decorate. I will state how much I earn per room per hour below each room.

That is it! Hopefully those rooms will give you some ideas! I am now halfway through going to level 24. By then I will be able to create another room. Happy playing!
