Woke up on Christmas Day all excited! Because a few of my friends agreed to go church service with me! I have been inviting Dean to service for almost a month already. Finally he kept his word to go with me on this Christmas service. Another friend who came along with me was Chanel. And the usual Tiffany! Ironically it was Chanel and Tiffany first time going out together again after reconciling their friendship some time ago. Dean knew them both since we are all Blackshot clan friends. So together with my mum, we went to City Harvest Church.

The only day that when you wear a hat that I will not look stupid. “Haha!” Ok for this case, Christmas hat. So anyway, kudos to the City Harvest drama team! It was an awesome drama production this year! The setting reminds me of Toy Story! I like the Transformer actor best! It was so cool! Anyway the best part of the service was Tiffany finally deciding to respond to the altar call! She so wanted to go forward from what I see. So I turned to ask, “Are you sure your sins are forgiven?” Seems to me that her eyes were watery. She told me she wanted to go forward but was afraid. So I held her and brought her forward. And there, she accepted Christ! The result of going to service with me for the past few months! Hallelujah! “Tiffany, so proud of you! You are now a child of God! So be Christ-like! Stop being so blur-like! :D“

I received two (“Yes only two.“) presents this year. One was from my mum who bought me two polo t-shirts. The polo t-shirts are what I needed because I pathetically only have one orange one from Uniqlo. So now I have three! The other present was from Tiffany. She bought me a Logitech Cooling Pad! “Now that must be quite expensive!” I mean, cooling pad can buy those cheap $5-$10 kinds without brand. But this from Logitech, I am sure it’s above $20!

(Laptop not included. =P) So now I can put this new cooling pad on my office desk! “Thanks Tiffany for the gift!” To end the day, I ate dinner with Dean and Tiffany who came my place after church service. We went to New York New York at Heartland Mall. We shared a New York Platter.

That is it for my Christmas 2011! “Merry Christmas to everyone!“

For two nights over the weekends, I got to meet with Chanel and Xin Yun to have dinner one after another. First was with Chanel last Friday. Chanel and I ate dinner at Swensen’s on Friday night. I initially did not want to eat at Swensen’s after the disappointing meal quality at Suntec City last week after church service with my mum. I mean the food was not that fantastic to have to eat again. Nevertheless since Chanel wanted to eat it, I agreed. While driving from office to Compass Point, she was already there queuing up for table. She already knew she wanted to eat Teriyaki Chicken Pasta. For me, instead of eating a main course meal, I decided to try the Chicken Baked Rice. And I concluded after the meal that there are some dishes in Swensen’s that are good! Such as the two I mentioned above. Then we also shared one Christmas special ice-cream, the Chocolate Twinkle. That was also very good! So I enjoyed this meal at Swensen’s!

Walking towards the car park, we stopped by a shop and Chanel told me she likes this iPhone casing. She found it very cute and she always wanted it but did not want to buy it for herself. Without much thinking, I decided to buy it for her as a Christmas present. Here she wanted me to post the photo of it.

The second dinner was last night together with Xin Yun. We were supposed to meet with Chanel but she was too lazy to come out. Xin Yun and I had few places in mind – Pasta Mania; PepperLunch and Pizza Hut. We decided on Pizza Hut just opposite at Heartland Mall. Ironical thing was that Xin Yun ate Pizza Hut the day before. But she did not eat the Christmas pizza. Now Xin Yun wanted to eat the pizza. Every year on Christmas, I will try to eat the Christmas pizza from Pizza Hut because it looks so nice. This year one was no difference too. I mean, it looks attractive too!

However, the taste was a bit weird. They included mash potato in the pizza which made the pizza quite not-so-nice to eat. Nevertheless besides that, it was still quite okay!

“Thank you Chanel and Xin Yun for making the effort to have dinner with me! :) Truly appreciate your time! :)“

Here we are into the last month of 2011 – December! I thought it will be a less busy month for me at work since it is the school holidays. But I am wrong. I am in the busy phase of doing mass recruitment of part-time trainers for my coming 2012 schedules. With that, I have to do a lot of human resource work. Yeah, although I am not a human resource staff, I have to do some recruitment by myself. So I am meeting with a lot of new faces. Never had I thought I will be the interviewer. It was barely about 4 months ago that I am the interviewee. I have targets to meet and that is what is causing me to be stress up. Yet another new learning curve for me at work. But I am glad to be given the opportunity to gain more experience too. Speaking about recruitment, maybe I can post the poster on my website and see if I can get any response here.

Anyway with work aside, I am looking forward to some kind of short break when the Christmas and New Year comes. Those public holidays mean a lot now! I better get a good break before I get burn out even before 2012 arrives. So far so good though. Once I ever asked my boss, “Boss, how you even find time to date and get married while working?” Then he told me, “We need to balance between work and social life.” I wonder how people find time to date. Wait! Anyway even if I am free, I have no one to date. Like my friend Sarah always tell me, “Be patient.” Oh well! Any free dating websites you can recommend? :)

I have put some Christmas decorations on my blog and some snow effects. Hope it will feel more Christmassy. =)

Start your December good! The final month of 2011.

After completing the 7 parts blogging about Christina and Lee Xiang trip to Singapore, this post is about them! Err okay not so much about them but this is the two Christmas presents I received from them. (Okay I know Christmas is over almost 2 weeks ago, but I took some time off to not blog after much blogging.) The pen was from Lee Xiang while the wallet was from Christina. Love both the gifts so much! The pen even has my name engraved on it! While as for the wallet, I was only hoping it has a coin compartment, but it does not. Well so I need to get a separate coin purse if I want to go out. Don’t like coins to be all in my pockets. =D

Oh their Christmas present from me was their entrance fees into Sentosa attractions that day we went. =P

“Thank you Darling and Dear!“
