Instead of paying $70 for a 5-feet tree, she paid only half that price (due to currency exchange) because she bought it from Malaysia. She was at Malaysia shopping with her friends and bought the tree from Jusco.

While the Christmas tree is new, the rest of the decorations are reused from last year.

Now I am just eagerly awaiting for my two friends from Malaysia to come over to spend the Christmas holidays with me!

Anyone wants to come over to my place for Christmas too? :)

For the past few days, I have been looking forward to PlayFish releasing new decorations for Christmas. PlayFish always do updates on Tuesdays. So finally after a long day wait, I was still awake to see the changes before going to sleep. With the new decorations, I quickly came up with a version 3 of my Christmas theme. Adding Christmas trees and present boxes all over my restaurant. I also made the exterior of my restaurant nicer.

On top of those decorations, PlayFish released another 3 new recipes. Thankfully I had enough ingredients to level 2 out of 3 dishes. I now need 5 more oranges. Super rare oranges! So far I have to thank my friends who helped me get those oranges. My inactive friends of Restaurant City.

That Reindeer Favourites required 40 carrots! Madness! So much more sugars and flours are needed. I sensed a lot of unhappy players because of the ingredients needed to make those dishes. For me, I just need 5 more oranges!

It has been for quite some time I have been playing Home Inn – a game in Facebook. Initially I found the game quite hard to play. Not in terms of game play but in terms of having new decorated rooms. Simply because everyone starts off poor and low lower. But after about over a month of playing, I am now level 23 and having over $5 million. Earning money when you are high level is no longer an issue. Each time I click to kiss a guest, I earn about $500. So my advice for those who find the decorations expensive is to be patient. Once you are higher level, the game becomes easier (and aimless eventually). With those said, let me show you my room designs to give you some ideas if you are looking for ideas on how to decorate. I will state how much I earn per room per hour below each room.

$548

$571

$608

$614

$699

$703

$723

Lobby – 15.90%

That is it! Hopefully those rooms will give you some ideas! I am now halfway through going to level 24. By then I will be able to create another room. Happy playing!

I have made some changes to my Christ Cafe in Restaurant. This after the suggestions I received in PlayFish Forum.

Removed the water section at the right of restaurant to make the “Cross” more obvious.

Redecorated the entrance area to make it more grand hence,

Shifting all the arcades machines to the right of the restaurant (replacing the old water section).

Replaced all black tables and chairs to all white tables and chairs.

Removed fish tanks in the center along the “bridges” to not destroy the “Cross” that much.

As for the exterior of the restaurant, I have made a lot of changes. In fact, almost everything is changed from the old castle looking style to the more white grand style. This is to give a blend with the interior of my restaurant that apparently I changed it to lots of white to give the heavenly impression.

If there is something I do not like, it will be the placement of the arcades machines. Although it seems best I do not put them, but it is necessary for me to have them in the restaurant for rating purposes. So unless someone can give me new and better suggestions, I can reconsider the placement of the arcades machines again! And if you want to see and compare with my first Christ Cafe version, click here.

Ever since PlayFish updated Restaurant City to include cash decorations in the game, I have wanted to get one of the decorations. That is the Grandiose Gold Statue. So while adding temporary friends to get ingredient, I have also try to notice whoever has cash decorations in their restaurant. There was just no luck for me to get that decoration after attempting several offers to trade. Until last Monday when I came across this lady. Without her permission, I rather not mention her name. But this lady who is from Hong Kong actually gave me that decoration as a gift!

I was shocked when I realized she gave me the gift even after she mentioned she did not have that statue. However she took the trouble to trade one for me and eventually gave it to me! Although it may cost only about SGD$5, it is still real life cash! I find it amazing sometimes how generous people can be. And of course there are the opposite of being generous too. Must be God’s blessing after the offering I gave at church last week. “Hehe!“

“Thank you very much lady!“
