I held back renovating my Restaurant City for the past two weeks because I was waiting to see if Playfish were to release and decoration for Chinese New Year. Indeed they did so yesterday and the decorations were beautiful! So nice that even though I had thoughts of should I spend the money since I can probably use the decorations for a month long, I still went ahead with the renovation. I spent my entire night doing my restaurant and completed it this morning after finishing the exterior too.

The toughest part of the renovation was the total revamped of my exterior garden area. After expanding the garden to the maximum size possible, I am left with the headache of “too much space, too little items” problem. And having to fit some of the decorations that look so out of theme but very important to be put because of rating issues. Probably I can improve on my staff resting area. Will be looking into that. The garden has nothing to do with Chinese New Year theme though. It is more of a general one that I will reuse on my next renovation.

Finally is my interior! Hardest part of this interior is just the floor tiles. Not knowing which combination will match well. But when I was finally done, I am really happy with the end design! Towards the right side is a little stage with all the Chinese New Year decorations, I like that! The only decoration that I bought and did not put was the dragon. I could not find a place to put it. Anyway is it the coming year of tiger and not dragon. :)

Now is to sit back and earn back some money. Good job Playfish on this latest updates!
