City Harvest Church Candlelight Service

A week before Christmas, City Harvest Church had our candlelight service this weekend. I was at service together with my mom. Before service, I met with Geraldine to catch up with one another and took a photo. During the candlelight moment, I spent my time videoing the event rather than lighting my own candle. (Oops, hope that is not a bad sign. Haha!) I was videoing so I can share the moment with my viewers here. Take a look at this two part videos to see what a candlelight service is.

Dinner with Geraldine & Yun Ting

Yun Ting joined me for church service yesterday. She normally goes to another service however she wanted to come for the service I am in currently because she wants to spend lesser time to travel to church. She has to spend more time studying for her coming O-levels examinations. Then after service we met up with Geraldine. Together we drove to Century Square for dinner. We wanted to eat Japanese. But was afraid Yun Ting did not have much to spend at Sakae Sushi. So we landed up in Ramen Ten. And thank God there is currently an on-going one-for-one ramen bowl noodles promotion. Therefore we ordered three bowls of ramen and shared equally the cost of the dinner.

Geraldine and I wanted to eat salmon sashimi. But the price Ramen Ten was selling it was too expensive. So she recommended eating at this small Japanese shop nearby. I knew which shop she was talking about but I never try it before. So it was my first time trying it earlier and it was delicious! One box we finished, and then we bought another box to eat. Total of 8 slices of salmon sashimi for $6. This shop name is Niwa Sushi located at Tampines MRT station, next to Sweet Talk.

Yun Ting does not eat salmon sashimi. So she was just sitting there wondering why Geraldine and I is loving it so much! We had so much fun just about 5 minutes in the shop. Here a video that Yun Ting took.

Sunday with Geraldine

My good friend cum sister-in-Christ Geraldine took time to come over to my place to spend some time together. She was supposed to come last Sunday but because she procrastinated that Sunday at home and ended up it was rather late. She made it up by coming today. I thought she wanted to come play Sims 3. But for so many hours she was here, she never played it. She was just using my laptop to go online. Hours past quickly as we enjoyed watching YouTube, playing Habbo, taking photos, praising and worshiping God!

The last time Geraldine and I met for dinner, it was Sakae Sushi we ate. Then again we ate at Sakae Sushi for dinner tonight. And just like the previous dinner, she ordered 3 red plates of salmon sashimi! I told her to spend lesser before going into Sakae Sushi and we ended up eating the same amount as previous! We ate a total of 9 colored plates and 3 red plates totaling up to $40++. That is after I used my $5 membership rebate. But anyway eating I will not mind spending more since I spend little (if not nothing) on entertainment.

Had a good time with Geraldine! And I will be going back to school for lessons officially tomorrow after a month long break.

Sakae Sushi dinner with Geraldine

Geraldine was craving to eat salmon sashimi (raw salmon) yesterday. She asked if I wanted to eat sashimi buffet with her. I have wanted to spend some time with her to bond after quite a long time we have not done so. I agreed to her dinner. Initially we planned to go Nihon Mura located at Tampines Swimming Complex to eat. However when I arrived there first, I realised they were not serving buffet. We ended up meeting at Century Square to eat at Sakae Sushi. Straight away she ordered 3 red plates of salmon sashimi. It was delicious! In fact we only ordered another 9 coloured plates and we were very full in the end.

Although it was just a simple dinner but it is always nice to be able to bond with friends again. I hope for more such opportunities with other friends too!

Hey! In case you still do not know, you can have your own Facebook username. Simply go to http://www.facebook.com/username and sign up for yours! I was online with Geraldine and we were waiting to sign up for our first name. Unfair! Geraldine got her /geraldine while my /bryan was not available! Oh well so I ended up with http://www.facebook.com/bryanchung. Consolation I guess … not too bad at least it is personalized to my surname too. :) By the way if you registered something like mine /bryanchung, I want to let you know that /bryan.chung belongs to you too. So I have /bryanchung and /bryan.chung actually. (But Geraldine does not have because it’s one name! Muahaha!)

And my protein has arrive from US after 3 weeks of shipping!

Time to train up those muscles at the gym! “Gym anyone?” :)
